The ISSCR Responds to Ranking Member Cassidy’s Request for Information on NIH Reform
On 27 October 2023, the ISSCR submitted comments to Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee Ranking Member Bill Cassidy’s Request for Information on reforming the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The ISSCR Opens Registration and Abstract Submission for 2024 Annual Meeting in Hamburg, Germany
ISSCR 2024 is the most clinically focused annual meeting in the society’s 20+ years. Fueled by basic research and unparalleled development of new technologies, the field is seeing more stem cell-based clinical trials than at any time in history. The meeting serves as an incubator, a catalyst for new advances at each point in the research continuum.
ISSCR Launches Website to Inform Patients and the Public About Stem Cells
“The ISSCR has a long history of sharing scientifically validated information about the potential of stem cell research and clinical advances with the public,” said Amander T. Clark, ISSCR President. “Our reimagined website, AboutStemCells.org, gives us an important avenue to educate the public about the importance of our work, combat misinformation, and raise awareness for the dangers of using unproven and unapproved stem cell-based treatments.”
