Following the highly successful PSConf meetings in 2021 and 2022, the Institute of Zoology/Institute for Stem Cell and Regeneration, Chinese Academy of Sciences & Beijing Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine are hosting the first face-to-face Pluripotent Stem Cell Conference (PSConf 2023) in October with a series of events focused on manufacture of hPSC-based medicines.
The objective of this meeting is to bring together leaders in the field to discuss the state of the art in human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) manufacturing with emphasis on current experiences with stem cell-derived products and organoids. These presentations will be complemented by training initiatives in biobanking and talks on ethical and quality issues in hPSC-derived organoids. In the Bridging Session to engage Chinese and international scientific networks, the participated organizations will further discuss global efforts to facilitate stem cell standards development and priorities for the future.
PSConf 21-22 was held to combine online & off-line due to the pandemic restrictions. As the first face-to-face meeting in the post-epidemic era, PSConf 2023 will be an unusual and exciting opportunity to interact with a diverse range of expertise in a cutting-edge area of science and therapy that initiate new collaborative activities. We would like to bring together more people from industry, and the international experts from drug regulatory authorities to discuss key issues in stem cell manufacturing development.
