Meetings & Events Across the Field
Conferences, workshops, and training from the stem cell and regenerative medicine community. The ISSCR is not responsible for events listed, but provides them as a service to the field.
2nd Stem Cell - Niche Interactions in the Gastrointestinal Tract Conference
This meeting will bring together a diverse group of investigators to discuss topics such as how the environment of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine and colon impacts SC behavior in healthy and diseased states, how SC behaviour and the niche differ along the proximal-distal axis of the GI tract, and the strengths of various models for investigating the relationship between gastrointestinal SCs, the niche, and the onset and propagation of disease states.
3rd Neurogenesis Conference - Implications for Lifelong Development and Disease #Neurogen24
This conference will bring together leaders from diverse fields, such as embryonic cortical development, adult neurogenesis, patient-derived stem cell-based 2D and 3B brain organoid disease modelling, direct reprograming and transplantation to discuss recent advances and remaining gaps in the understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating neural stem cell activity, neural fate specification and functional significance of circuitries modified by the addition of new neurons in health and diseases.
